However, many artists have also pointed to the usefulness of limitations in the creation of art.\u00a0 Orson Welles supposedly said, &#8220;The enemy of art is the absence of limitations.&#8221; The seasons of the year can be a great example of limitations. Has seasonal weather ever put limits on your nature journaling? Did you come up with creative solutions? What is going on with the seasons right now where you live?<\/p>\n<p>There are a variety of ways to nature journal about the seasons. So feel free to improvise today. Maybe it is fall where you live in the northern hemisphere, maybe it is almost spring in the southern hemisphere. There are even seasonal changes on the equator (trust me I am there right now). What catches your attention and makes you wonder? Maybe fall leaf color is not really lighting up your brain. Perhaps you notice something with caterpillars or butterflies in your backyard and you wonder about the seasonality of their life cycle. Whip out your nature journal you might be on to something!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Next, start small.<\/strong> There are some really cool nature journaling strategies that use multiple pages and multiple months to show the seasons. One such approach is called a Phenology Wheel. These are awesome projects but try to bite of something you can chew. Start small. Especially if you are trying to do 30 days this month!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Finally, keep it fun. <\/strong>If you make it too hard for yourself you might burn out.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Did you get the 30 day challenge yet?
