Nature Journal Beach Vacation: Costa Rica

Are you ready to relax into the beauty of a Costa Rican sunset while unlocking your creativity? Do you want to rejuvenate your winter season with a week of nature journaling and relaxing on a tropical beach? Do you want to take a break for yourself between Thanksgiving and Christmas? Join Marley and a select group of nature journalers for a week long stay at one of the premiere beach-side hotels in Costa Rica. We will focus our nature journals on landscapes, tidepools, plants and if we are lucky sea turtles. Watercolor landscapes and botanical illustrations will be delved into with more depth.

Who Should Come: This trip is perfect for anyone from a cold climate that wants to revitalize their nature journaling and their body and soul with the warmth and vibrancy of the tropics. Anyone who wants to combine tropical beach-side relaxation and art will benefit from this trip. We will have daily classes and one-on-one lessons with Marley but there will also be plenty of time to relax or explore on your own. No long hikes or extreme adventures on this trip (see the Andes to Amazon trip for that). Cocktails and painting the sunset with your feet in the sand every evening is more like it 😉

When: 3rd of December to 10th December.

How Much: $1750 (price may vary slightly depending on group size and if you choose double or single rooms.) Cost covers tuition, 7 nights at the hotel, all meals, and shuttle to and from the airport.

Other Details: All participants must have their own travel insurance that covers evacuation. This is just a safeguard in a post-covid world. This trip is very safe and Costa Rica is safer than most places I have lived in the USA.
