SUMMARY:Explore the Laguna de Santa Rosa Trail
DESCRIPTION:Join the North Coast Nature Journaling meet up this month at the Laguna de Santa Rosa Trail in Sebastopol. We will keep our eyes open for wonderful bird encounters while practicing drawing the beautiful landscape scenes this location provides. Last time I was there I saw 5 species of raptors including a family of Great Horned Owls. We will explore whatever other curiosities nature has in store. Bring sketching and watercolor supplies\, binoculars\, and a potluck lunch to share. A hat\, sun gear\, foldable chair or stool might also be useful. Be prepared to enjoy nature and learn with like minded people. The trail is very flat and even. Hiking will be very mild on this trip. We will meet at 10am at the Highway 12 entrance just East of Sebastopol. Look for people standing around with sketchbooks in the parking lot. Potluck lunch around 12. \n  \nWe meet every month at new spots! Third Saturday of the month. \n$20 recommended donation \nParking is free.
